SBU in SEGRO Business Park Łódź fully leased
SEGRO's Small Business Unit investment in Łódź is now fully leased. Poland's first SBU investment, located within SEGRO Business Park Łódź, has been leased in full by ABB Sp. z o.o., a company specialising in power and automation technologies for public utility and industry enterprises.
By the end of September 2011 ABB Sp. z o.o company, a part of the world's leading power and automation technology group, leased over 1800 sq m of business space in an SBU investment located in SEGRO's Park in Łódź. In July 2012 the company signed another lease agreement for the remaining warehouse space in the building i.e. additional 1400 sq m.
ABB is a leading supplier of power and automation technologies enabling the customers, which are public utility and industry enterprises, to improve their performance while lowering environmental impact. ABB operates in more than 100 countries and has approximately 130 000 employees.
"SBU in Łódź is strategically located within the premises of the city, in close proximity to major junctions of the country. The high standard of investment was achieved by the use of numerous, functional technical solutions which make the space easily adaptable to the clients' needs. These advantages of the SBU in Łódź have convinced our current tenant - ABB company, to extend their agreement and extend the scope of cooperation" says Waldemar Witczak, Regional Director SEGRO.
SEGRO's SBU investment in Lodz is located on a 6.6 hectare site within the area of SEGRO Business Park Łódź I. The project provides 34 000 sq m of modern business space. SEGRO Business Park Łódź is one of the best situated distribution parks in Poland. It is located only 6 kilometers from the city centre, adjacent to the Rokicinska street, one of the city's main thoroughfares, 15 kilometres away from the junction with the A2 motorway and only 2 kilometers from the future junction with the A1 motorway connecting Gdansk, Lodz and Katowice.
